Isuzu Bakery offers a large variety of sweet and savoury items. There is no cafe attached, and no eating space available. I took my bread down to Meriken Park to take photos, which is a great spot for a picnic. You can see the famous Kobe Port Tower (undergoing renovations at the time of my visit), Kobe Maritime Museum, and the Be Kobe sign in my photos.
The bread from Isuzu Bakery was lovely - freshly baked, and would go down nicely with a coffee! Isuzu offers up some classic Japanese baked items, as well as some bread that's more on the creative side. I really enjoyed the pretzel made with croissant style pastry (I have no idea of the proper name, sorry!)
Isuzu Bakery has plenty of great options for a snack, or an easy lunch or breakfast.
Isuzu Bakery has a couple of locations in Kobe, so I suggest popping the name into Google Maps and seeing if there's one close by.
